Ida Kathryn Topel

Age 10, of Elk River. Passed away peacefully after a short battle with complications from a Bone Marrow Transplant on January 24, 2023 at Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.

A vivacious and enthusiastic child that woke up each day with a big smile on her face and twinkle in her eyes. Ida was a foodie at heart and had dreams of being a chef along with a love of unicorns, mermaids, and all things pink, purple, rainbow, and sparkles.

She is preceded in death by her Koko Mama, Julie Marie Topel.

Ida is survived by her mother, Justine; brothers, Xander and Dexter; aunts, Torian Topel and Devony (Tony) Moore; cousins, Nicholas, Greyson, Lily, Julien, and Cameron; grandfather, Michael (Arlene) Topel; other extended family and many friends.

A Celebration of Ida’s life will be at 11:00AM on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main St, Elk River, with visitation beginning at 10:30AM.
