Earl Howard Greer

Greer, Earl Howard, age 90 of Elk River, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 6:20 PM at Mission Nursing Home in Plymouth, MN. Born in Sacramento, CA on August 25, 1931 to the late Lenard and Marie Greer moved to Minnesota at an early age and then moved several times before settling in the Elk River area. He was drafted into the Army at age 20.  He served in the Korean War as a veteran.  He became a carpenter working for Jesco Construction and owned his own general contracting company.  He was involved in VFW Post 5518, American Legion and the church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling.  He was married 69 years to the late Florence Evelyn Greer, they had 4 children, Linda, Cheryl (Jim), Chris and Russell (Theresa).  They were also blessed with 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
