Dawn E. (Wold) Harken

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dawn E. Harken, which occurred on September 26, 2022.  

Beloved wife of Jeff, daughter of Margaret Wold, sister of Heidi Wold, Danielle Nelson (Jim) & Laurie Pellin (Chris), sister-in-law to Jim Harken (Kenda), aunt to, Ashley, Jeffrey, Brandon, Olivia, Hailey, Brooke, Jacob, Lindsey and Mason.  

Preceded in death by her father Lawrence Wold, grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.

Dawn fought a long hard battle against Ocular Melanoma.  It was such a small chapter in her life story.  She loved all things outdoors, including fish, rock hunting and walks.  She was very creative and loved to plan a great party.  Everything was always celebrated with a theme.  She loved her cars, whether it was what she drove or going to car shows.  But…. must importantly she loved being with her family.

Visitation from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River.  Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 3 at Central Lutheran Church, 1103 School Street NW, Elk River, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM.
