Age 80, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019, with family by his side. Bob enjoyed crossword puzzles, college football and the Green Bay Packers.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Eleanor Rehard; children, Dana Berg, Daniel Aumer; brother, Ken Rehard; sister Marge Jones.
Served in the US Navy’s 7th fleet on the USS Cacapon from January 31, 1957 to August 10, 1960. Served on the Beloit Police Department before moving to Minnesota. Finished his career as a Detective at the Fridley Police Department where he served from April 1, 1970 to February 28, 1989. After retirement, Robert did a short service with the US Marshalls Service as a court security officer, retiring in December 20, 2002.
Bob is survived his wife Donna; children, Mike (Shauna) Rehard, Scott (Debbie) Rehard, Jill (Mark) O'Connor, Sandra (David) Rhude, Jim (Sue) Ellavsky, John (Jenny) Ellavsky, Carol (Pete) Sonntag, James (Jennifer) Aumer, Johnny Aumer; grandchildren, Cole, Mikey and Deaven Rehard, Andrew, Evan and Joey Rehard, Michael O’Connor, Erin (Steve) Betts, Grace O’Connor, Samuel (Kaitlyn) O’Connor, Molly O’Connor, Jacob O’Connor, Stephanie (Casey) Tobias, Camille (Gabe) Masica, Hope Forsman, Noah Forsman, Benjamin Forsman, Elliot Forsman; Sarah (Mitch) Lasky, Casey (Laura) Ellavsky, Nick (Mikayla) Ellavsky; Brodie Ellavsky, Katie Sonntag, Wallace Sonntag, Charlotte Sonntag, Mikayla Aumer, Chris (Amber) Keller, Stephanie (Shaun) Christensen and Ryan (Brittany) Aumer; great-grandchildren, Alan (Nora) Betts, Taylor Tobias, Kristof and Alexandria Masica, Emma and Emilia Lasky, Chloe, Madison and Caden Keller, Jordan, Gavin and Audrey Christensen, and Blaine and Casey Aumer; brother, Art (Bev) Rehard; many nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Memorial service at 1:00PM on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Dare’s Funeral Home, 805 Main Sreett, Elk River, with visitation starting at Noon.
