Jonathan Reese

 Reese, Jonathan, age 55 of Otsego, MN. died peacefully on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019 at home. Jon was born on April 25, 1963 in Selma, Al to Louise Reese and Grant Williams. He grew up and attended school in Selma until his high school years when he moved to Mpls and attended & graduated from Mpls South High School in 1982. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the US Navy. After returning from the Navy, he spent time in Selma before returning to Mpls to live with his brother, James. Jon worked various jobs before starting his career in security in 1994. He worked for a few different companies before he found his dream job. He had a passion for working for Viking Security, working as the account manager for their Hennepin County account. Jon married Sandy Kasin on Sept. 16th, 1995 and lived in Coon Rapids until moving to Otsego in 2007. Jon was a member of Anoka Lodge #30. He loved to fish but did not like to eat the fish. He liked grilling and would brag about his ability for cooking  the best spare ribs ever but most of all, he loved being home, sitting at the table on the patio, drinking coffee, and playing with the dogs, Jackson and BB. Jon is survived by his wife, Sandy; his brother James (Karen) Reese, Brooklyn Park, MN; his best friend, Tyrone Connolly, Brooklyn Center; 12 nieces & nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Reese Tarrance & step-father Jesse Tarrance.
