Alice Marie Pieper

  Alice M. Pieper age 93 of Elk River, formerly of St. Paul and Lindstrom, passed away on July 11, 2019 at Guardian Angels Care Center, Elk River.

  Alice is preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Ida Benke, her husband Wilfred, son Frederick, granddaughter Alicia and siblings Frederick Benke Jr. and Marcella Gilcher.

  Alice is survived by her children Bill (Nancy), Chery (Steve) Baker and Debra (Don) Thoeny.  Alice is grandmother of Sarah (Joel) Erkkinen, Kevin (Stacy) Thoeny, Brian (Ali) Thoeny,  Michael (Kati Howey), John Baker, Anna Pieper, Jason Baker, Donald Thoeny Jr. and Jesse Baker.  Great-grandmother of: Mikenna, Briana, Brailyn, Kaden, Nicole, Greta, Lucas, Ethan, Levi, Megan, Graham, Gavin, Clara, Kasen, and Seoul.

  Also survived by her sister-in-law Lois Groves along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

  Funeral service 11 AM Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church 9231 Viking Blvd NW.  Visitation from 6 – 8 pm on Tuesday, July 16 and one hour prior to service on Wednesday at the Church.  Interment St. John parish Cemetery.
